Coloratura Lyric Soprano, specializing in Oratorio, Concert, Musical, Opera, as well as Cabaret. Nationally performed as a featured soloist with over 16 Orchestras in the United States, Internationally in Austria, with Salzburg Mozart Prodigy Orchestra; most recently Rome Italy, 2014. I have performed may leading roles. I have been nominated three times for the coveted Regional Shelly Award in the role of "Lily" in The Secret Garden with DLOC; The Willows Theatre and the role of "Marsinah" in Kismet with the Diablo Light Opera Company. I have performed professional lead roles in Die Fledermaus, HMS Pinafore, Carousel, Gianni Schicci, Bastien un Bastienne. I have been a member and soloist for The San Francisco Choral Artists, conductor Megan Solomon. I have been featured soloist at the P.O.E State Convention in Omaha NE, San Jose, CA, and the International Convention in San Diego, CA. I have been a guest artist performing several times with the Ashmolean Singers, Gordan Addison Conductor, 15 years as the soprano soloist for the San Ramon Foundation of the Arts performing The Messiah with orchestra, conductors Cheryl Yee Glass and Dr. Tim Smith. I am a professional church soloist and church musician in the East Bay. Prior to settling in California 17 years ago, Ms. Hunter Ashley worked with Opera Omaha Company as an Assistant Resident Artist for the Heartland Opera Theatre, as well as a member and soloist of the Opera Chorus. I have performed the National Anthem for the American League Baseball Game at the Minneapolis Metrodome and the College World Series, Omaha, NE. My awards include a Hall of Fame Recipient, Concerto Competition; a NATS winner; recording artist. I donate my Christmas CD to NYC Franciscan Order after our Nations tragedy, "911" in 2001. I donate proceeds from my concerts to many people including the Lwamondo Parish in South Africa. I hold a BM from University of Kansas, An MM in vocal performance from the University of Minnesota.
